Session 3

Saturday I had my 3rd appointment with tattoo artist Brion Norwalk at Infinite Art tattoo in Toledo. The session lasted about 4 hours and mostly color and shading was added. He described the color scheme as "earthy tones". The next appiontment is early Feb. Hopefully It will be completed at the Detroit Tattoo Convention in early March.

Football Sunday

My friend Mike calld and said he got tickets for sunday to see his favorite team the Pittsburg Steelers and wanted to know if I would like to go. It was a lot of driving but still a good time. The Steelers skunked the Browns 31-0.

The Steelers star QB Ben Roethlisberger goes down in the 2nd quarter. He should have not even been playing at this point because this was the last game of the regular season and The Steelers have a playoff spot already locked up.


Mike looks on as the fate of his team is uncertain.

I'm So Giddy

Reason #1 What a perfect day (so far) - I hope i didn't just jinx myself.

The snow is absolutely beautiful. It's perfect snow, coming down lightly floating down from heaven, plus it's perfect packing snow, you know what that means...... A snowman ( bummer I didn't have time to make a snowman) I so wish Marley was here, we would have so much fun today.

Reason #2 --- I won up close parking at work. Yeah I don't have to walk from the dirt lot in the snow. It's one thing to play in the snow and a complete different thing to walk to work in the snow.

Reason #3 --- It's my birthday and I got an awesome coat from Mom and Ken and some super cute birthday cards from friends (some even handmade Way Cool. ) Thanks everyone. I love you

I just have to express how much facebook is like crack, I don't talk from experience but it's very addicting. At first it wasn't so cool but the more and more I've spend on it I find that I want to spend more. Looking around finding people I haven't talked with in years, and not really sure I want to talk with again but some how feel compelled to say hi and ask them to be my friend, everyday I get more friends, it's such a rush. it's totally crazy I know. Half of the battle of breaking an addiction is admitting the problem, well here i am admitting I spend way to much time thinking about facebook. Who added me as their friend or who can i look up to be my friend. My life is filled with people I love and I know love me, but I need to have more friends CRAZY ? ?
The next part is even worst !!! once your my friend I feel like a peeping tom, nosing around in your pictures, seeing what you like to do in your free time, it's kinda creepy in a voyeuristic way. Can someone help this addition, soon you'll see self help classes for people who've lost their jobs, social life, sex life etc... because their stuck to the computer playin on facebook. What has this world come to?

Fun Busy Weekend in Nashville

We drove to Nashville friday with friends Rob and Kim. The main purpose for the trip was for our friend Jerrys wedding that took place saturday. While we were in town we met up with Mom and Ken (they live 2 hours west of Nashville). We also met up with cousin Kevie and Alex who live near downtown. The wedding was beautiful and we had fun sunday being tourists (even though the weather was chilly).

Session 2

I was at the shop for about 6 hours this time. 2 hours of drawing and 3.5 of tattoo. The outline is all finished now and some color got added to the inside of my arm. From here on out it will be all color and shading. Next session at the end of december.

Football Saturday!

Saturday I went to West Lafayette, Ind with some friends to watch 2 terrible teams battle it out. Michigan lost to Purdue 48-42. We had fun and it was a good game even though Michigan lost earning their first losing season since 1967.

How bad is Michigan this year? When the punter starts selling jerseys know its not good. A lot of 3 & outs this year.

Last Weekend

Last week was great but this week will be greater. I'll post some more pictures from last weekend later, but I'm excited about this weekend. Patrick and Cyndi are getting married tomorrow, the weather forecast looks perfect, today at the rehearsal it was perfect so here's a few shots.

Fresh Ink

Saturday I had an appointment with tattoo artist Brion Norwalk at Infinite Art Tattoo In Toledo Ohio. My session was at 1pm, but he called me and had to move the session to 2pm because he was with another client and had to finish up. I showed up at 2 and we talked a bit about tattoo styles and our favorite artists. I described that I wanted to even out my right arm and make it equal in size to my left arm while incorporating aspects from my left arm. I also wanted to keep the original cross tattoo design but told him that altering it to improve the tattoo would be ok. At about 2:15 he started drawing on my arm. He drew for about and hour or so. The design looked awsome so I gave the ok to start tattooing. 6 hours later it looked like this:

The cross is a light form that is illuminating out, this effect will really come alive when color and shading are added. Its far from completed, my next 2 sessions are in October and December where the outline/shading will be worked on the underside of my arm and color and shading will also be added.
