Spring in my yard
Yeah it's finally here !!!! Matt cut the grass yesturday and I did some weeding today. I got inspired to take some pictures of all the wonderful things that are growing in our yard with my new macro lens. Some of them are quite abstract but I like them.

Great Day
Matt and I took a flight with a friend (Pat) in his Piper Cherokee. I won the flight through the United Way auction. We flew out to Lake Michigan and then back. It was about an hour flight, it was way cool, a little bumpy but still really neat to see everything from the air, especially the golf courses. It was a really good day to fly, it was 70 degress and not a cloud in the sky, ok so there were some light wispy clouds but it was still perfect.

To Be Six Again

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife, looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what she'd like to have for her Birthday.
'I'd like to be six again', she replied, still looking in the mirror.
On the morning of her Birthday, he arose
early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day!
He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster, everything there was.
Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down..
He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.
Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted... He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, 'Well Dear, what was it like being six again??'
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. 'I meant my dress size, you dumb ass!'
The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he's gonna get it wrong.

Email that I agree with
I'm not saying that the white race is perfect my any means but if people want equal oppertunity lets really make things equal. --- Alicia
This e-mail does contain wording that is meant to express an open opinion to a major problem in the USA . It is estimated that only 11% of those receiving this e-mail will read it all the way to the end. In addition, it is estimated that only 1% of non-white color will read this past this point and 99% will blow it away because of the title..
It is a shame this sentiment exists when we tell the world that the USA is the best place to Live, Worship, Work, and Play…

Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld does make a good point.
This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points...
Someone finally said it. H ow many are actually paying attention to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.
And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... and that's OK.
But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.
You have the NAACP. You have BET.... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.
If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that??
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US . Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud... But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists??
There is nothing improper about this e-mail. Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many will.. That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won't stand up for ourselves!

I want to lose my job
I wish I could type as fast as my brian is thinking. More handouts. No wonder this economy sucks the goverment and companies are giving things away left and right. Who needs a job these days anyways. If I lose my job, I'll get unemployment, free college, if I have a ford or gm car those companies will pay for between a year to 9 payment of $500 of my car payments (that $4,500).First, if your car payments are $500 in the first place you did something wrong, sell it and buy something you can afford. Uh have you ever heard of money down and living within your means. OK here my idea.. Let my buy my brand new 2009 Malibu LTZ and then please lay me off. I could be perfectly happy going to school for free and driving my car for free and playing on facebook all day. Arrugh........... I'd like to think of myself as a honest hard working person but it's becoming easier and easier to let everybody (taxpayers) do it for me.
