What a good baby

So many people might say that having a baby changes everything. I will agree with them in some aspect but I was always afraid of losing "me", I like myself and I liked my life before Lilyana, so why should that change? For the most part, I do what I did before just with baby in tow. So in theory a baby with change how you do things but doesn't have to change "you". It's just "you" as a parent now also. I think I'm learning how to do both be "me" and be "mom".

So far Lilyana has been out quite often, meeting friends for lunch and dinner. here's the list of resturants she's been to already. She's slept the whole time at everyone of them. She's really made it easy for us.

Yarrow's -- Easter Brunch
Noodles & Company -- Lunch with Stacy
Chinese Buffet -- Matt & Me (too lazy to cook)
Clara's -- Dinner with Mom on her last night

This past week....

It's been a little quieter now that most people have gotten a chance to see little lilyana, so we are trying to get a routine, (if there is such a thing. ) but...

Lilyana has been a really good baby. she gets up about 3 times during our slept schedule.
We'll put here down for bed between 11pm - 12am, then up at 2am- 3am, again between 5am- 6am and then once again around 8am - 9am. then we get out of bed around 10am - 11am. I know most people would just start their day at 8am- 9am but we haven't fully adjusted to that schedule yet, and yeah if she's going to let us sleep more i'm all for it. Most of the time she sleeps in the cradle next to our bed but usually one "nap time" she'll get to sleep with us usually the last one she'll stay in bed with us for a few hours.

so I'll get on to what every one really wants is more pictures:

Taking a walk

Our little baby boy for the day, Auntie Sarah got this super cute outfit and this blue blanket was way too soft to take back or re-gift so here's our little girl in blue.

Mini photo session, I took close to 80 shots, so many cute ones

More Pictures of Lilyana

Today was a very busy day for Lilyana (even though she slept through most of it). First, the pediatrician wanted some more blood work done at the lab to check her bilirubin count. After her 1st 24 hours when we were at the hospital she measured 8.1. Later she measured 11.1. The lab results from today showed 14. The doctor called right away with the results and said that he ordered a rental UV light that would be delivered to our house that would be used to treat the jaundice.

She also had lots of visitors today (most bearing gifts!). Great Aunt Dawn, Uncle Patrick, Aunt Cyndi, April, Erick & Hope all met her for the first time today!

(she looks very yellow in this picture)

We tried to keep Lilyana near a window with sunlight, this was the temporary solution while we waited for the UV light to be delivered. Jubie has been very curious, wondering "is this my replacement".

After an address mixup, the UV light finally showed up around 9pm. Lillyana will be wrapped up in it until her peditrician appointment Saturday at 11am. After will be more blood work (to check the bilirubin count again, followed by more UV treatment (until the doctor says she dosen't need it anymore)
